We are currently seeking final year law students to volunteer for semester 2. The Thiess John Holland Joint Venture is currently seeking to appoint a law student to assist its busy legal team in the TJH project office at Kedron, Brisbane.

The successful applicant will play a key role in assisting the legal team and will have:

Extra Information:

Application Forms: The application forms are fillable PDFs again but we have had them redesigned and do not expect the same issues as last year. No electronic signature is required, just the applicant typing their name into the box. The boxes are also bigger and can fit the required words and be printed.

In regards to using Macs there is apparently a limitation with the technology. Our designers have said that Mac users can download fixes from http://www.macshareware.com/software/save_fillable_pdf_forms. However, we have had someone test this on a Mac and while it did work, their suggestion is to have applicants complete the form on a PC.

Just a tip: get your applicants to save the form first before entering any information.

Peter is a UQ graduate with degrees in Law and Commerce who began his working life as a judge’s associate in the Supreme Court of Queensland. He subsequently practised as a solicitor at Blake Dawson Waldron in Melbourne before moving to the Magic Circle firm of Allen & Overy in London. He has most recently worked for Citigroup in London and is currently employed at Queensland Treasury Corporation.
