About Us
QUOTALS (Queensland University of Technology Association of Law and Justice Students) is a non-profit student organisation which represents Law and Justice students studying at QUT.
QUT Law School is the largest law school in Queensland, and second largest in Australia. As a result, QUOTALS is one of the largest student law societies in the nation, having more than 3,500 members. QUOTALS is an important link between law and justice students and the university.
We also link students with the industry and provide wide ranging events to get students jobs in the legal and justice professions. On top of this, we are responsible for a great deal of sporting, social and educational events throughout the university year.
2009 will see another exciting year for QUOTALS and the QUT Law and Justice Students. QUOTALS 2009 has a range of new initiatives and activities which we are exploring including events for 1st years , an improved Careers Guide, the new website and High Court Judge at our law dinner!
QUOTALS also maintains a strong working relationship with the QUT Faculty of Law representing the interests of the Law and Justice students. QUOTALS continues to voice student feedback and concerns to the Faculty ensuring improvement and satisfaction continue.
In 2009, we invite all Law and Justice students to get involved, make new friends and enjoy the lighter side of university life.
